Lizz Nagle, Senior Agent

Lizz Nagle used to read books while walking to school as a kid and got lost in stories at the Allentown Public Library. She then stayed local, graduating from Cedar Crest College in May of 2009 where she studied English with a creative writing concentration and picked up another Communication major along the way.
After graduating college, mothering, office managing for a Chiropractor, substitute teaching for the Allentown School District, working construction for a little while, and writing for fun herself, Lizz began her agenting career in 2019 at Victress Literary under the mentorship of Victress founder, Shannon Orso. She immediately began seeking out layered, character-driven stories with social relevancy that challenge stereotypes, soften hearts, and spread hope with a message of resilience.
With a client list including but not limited to Young Adult, Women’s Fiction, Horror, and Fantasy titles, Lizz thrives in a creative atmosphere working on a wide variety of books that mashup genres and are propelled by characters.
As an agent she values communication, community and collaboration. When not reading, writing, painting, practicing guitar, traveling, or at a concert, she might be found on a hiking trail or with her menagerie of kids and rescue animals.
Alisha West, Associate Agent
Alisha West resides in Washington State. She’s had a life-long love affair with stories, earning a BA in English and an MA in Women’s and Gender Studies. Her thesis, Exploring the Missing Pieces: Readers, Religion and Societal relations in One Magazine, 1954-1963, concerns one of the first widely circulated gay and lesbian magazines published in the U.S. (downloaded 300+ times). Her personal essay, “Walking Sweet Dee,” took third place in the Adult Short Topic category of the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Association’s Literary Contest in 2022 and was recently published in Still Point Arts Quarterly Magazine.
After bonding with Lizz during the after party of the PNWA awards ceremony, Alisha jumped at the chance to join Victress Literary as an editorial assistant in November 2022. Because of her commitment, cheerleading, and creativity, she was promoted to Junior Agent in May 2023, and became an Associate Agent January 2025. Her favorite tasks include reading submissions and editing manuscripts from Victress clients.
When Alisha isn’t reading, editing or writing about women’s rights and queer history, she enjoys playing with her fur babies (Roary Gilmore, Sweet Dee, Charlie Kelly, and Ronald “Mac” McDonald), practicing guitar, gaming, and watching all the best stories film has to offer with her partner, Matt.

Keyanna Davis, Editorial Assistant Intern
Keyanna Davis is a proud Philadelphia native with a lifelong passion for books and storytelling. She is completing her master’s degree in library science and technology and has hands-on experience curating collections, beta reading, copy editing, and working on marketing campaigns. Each year, Keyanna strives to reach her personal reading goals, driven by her belief in the transformative power of stories.
She also believes in the transformative power of caffeine and has never met a caramel macchiato she didn’t like. As a wife to her very own “grumpy hero” and a mom to a fantastic autistic daughter, Keyanna brings both heart and expertise to her work, aiming to help connect great stories with eager readers. When she’s not reading, she’s binge-watching a show on Netflix or playing her favorite murder mystery board game.

Charlotte Ury, Intern

Charlotte Ury is a sophomore at Gonzaga. She is double majoring in English, with a concentration in literature, and business, with a concentration in marketing. Her favorite genre of book is contemporary, but she is a sucker for fantasy – especially when it involves practical people in impractical settings.
In her free time, she loves to read, make zines (which Charlotte believes is a critically underrated form of media), collage, journal, and do poorly in intramural sports. She can’t live without her Sonny Angel collection, iced coffee, or her Kindle.
Josie Kuffner, Intern
Josie Kuffner is from Vancouver, Washington, born and raised. She loves to read fantasy, romance, and realistic fiction. She hopes to expand into literary fiction and classics as well. Josie is an English major with a writing concentration and a double minor in public relations and journalism at Gonzaga University. Post-grad, she wants to work in either the fiction publishing industry or in sports journalism.
Other than reading, Josie loves to write, listen to music, bake, watch her favorite sports teams play, and be social with her friends. You can find her at a bookstore, coffee shop, a Gonzaga basketball game, or cozied up in her dorm with her roommates. Josie is very excited for her semester with Victress!
